We created a new whiteboard in our classroom. Logan had fun printing some of the JK/SK names.
We have been talking about insects in class this past week. Keltin was at the science centre observing a piece of wood under our class magnifying glass. The wood had paths that ants had eaten through.
We decided to take the kite outside and fly it. When we came back inside, a few other children wanted to make kites and then take them outside to fly them. There were a lot of giggles to be heard! They also figured out that it was easier to fly their kite if they ran into the wind.
We read the book Silly Sally to the class. During activity time, Sophia asked if she could read it using one of our pointers. She did an amazing job tracking what she was reading and didn't need any help reading the book independently. Way to go Sophia!
